We didn’t play often enough, and I didn’t have the confidence to play solo. We were too loud, (I was too loud), and we played too few covers to hold anyone’s interest. We thought we were a little bit cool, and knew we were very uncool. Yet, those mid-aughts are somehow a sort of golden age. Still brimming with the optimism of youth, we were at least bold and willing enough to alienate a roomful of strangers with our own brand of heartfelt sensitive Rock&Roll.
